在一個華燈初上的周末，黃埔江畔高級酒店頂樓內宴會廳燈火通明。眾人都懷著喜悅的心情在舞池裏翩翩起舞，但忽然傳出一個消息，參加宴會的一名賓客竟然是艾滋病病患者，於是引起恐慌、猜疑，艾滋病的謬誤不脛而走……

1927年，4.12和5.21两起反革命事变发生后，革命转入低潮。农协主席邱金（张平 饰）与敌博斗中负伤，被特派员罗大成（周凤山 饰）救出。罗大成在农民运动讲习所聆听过毛泽东的教海，深知组织群众、发动群众的重要。他深入乡村，领导农民自发展开对敌斗争。中央特派员王怀志（胡晓光 饰）是个右倾机会主义者，他认为罗大成农运工作搞过了头，将其撤职。各地都传来解散工农武装的噩耗。紧急关头，党中央召开了“八七”会议，结束和批判了党内投降主义思潮，确立了农民运动今后的行动纲领，此时，毛泽东领导了震惊中外的秋收起义，革命火种已成燎原之势。邱金在党的正确领导下，成长起来了......

炎热的暑假，女生们还要在学校补课，早就坐不住的她们自动请缨去送午餐给为棒球队打气的管乐队。一路上嘻嘻哈哈的她们快到终点才发现因为天气炎热饭盒早就变坏了，而管乐队队员毫不知情地吃下去，随之而来的身体不适让而唯一没有吃饭盒的中村要求女生们负责，组成爵士乐团。可是女生们不懂得演奏乐器。艰苦的训练开始了，可是痛苦中也带着甜蜜。
